Well the character traits that you look in for a partner are the same character traits that you try to look for in a person who you hire to do a job. The first thing that you will see is their appearance. This means that you are going to have to learn how to promote yourself as a person who has it all together and someone who is in control of their own destiny and to do that you have to learn how to dress properly. It’s cool to dress and look like a punk when you a teen, however, you have to grow up at some point. There are ways that you can promote yourself as a successful and independent person without giving up who you are. You just need to find your balance.
The second thing that people look for in a mate is honesty. You have to be able to stand up for what you believe in and you have to learn how to stand up for the mistakes that you make. You may have made a lot of mistakes in the past, but learn from them. Don’t hide who you really are either. If you dress like a different person you are only going to promote yourself as a fake. You don’t want to get involved with a person who can’t even be comfortable in his or her own skin.
Not only is honesty valued, but you also have to be determined. You have to have goals for yourself and you need to be constantly reaching for something better. It’s not settling when you have found out who you are and what it is that you are searching for. Keep in mind that there are tons of different people, and you may be good together with a lot of different kinds of people, however, with an open mind and determination you will be able to find that one and only person. It’s all about promotion and playing the field when it comes to being a successful, dating person.
You need to keep the honesty going in a relationship from the beginning to the end of the relationship. You will also need to be an open-minded person because you never know when you will be able to find some one new, different, and interesting. You never know where love will strike the mood, however, when you are constantly promoting yourself in a good, positive light, you’ll be on your path to finding a healthy and successful relationship.
